And another 4-door coupé... Further proof of the influence of the Mercedes CLS in the automotive landscape. This week's Auto-Bild issue has an article on future BMW vehicles including a rumoured 4-door coupé version of the 6 series. Auto-Future loves 4-door coupés... you can check previous reports on the Mercedes CLS influence in future car design, Peugeot 608, Audi A7, Porsche Panamera, Passat coupé,... Thinking of it... maybe we will have too many of that! Time will tell... for now BMW's decision seems logic because the boys from Munich are witnessing the success of the Mercedes CLS and that means loosing some sales to the three-pointed-star. And of course, finding more highly profitable niches is one of the main tasks for premium manufacturers these days.
